Hello! I’m Keely Marolt, a ready-to-wear designer specializing in waste reduction and sustainability. My work is a result of my love for historical fashion practices, recognizing the value in traditional methods of garment production. The modern fashion industry depends on over-consumption; I am working to create an ethical style alternative to combat fast fashion. Personal style is central to conveying identity and is a constant form of self-expression. When our clothing tells a story, we wear it with confidence. Each of my designs is imbued with a story and a vision that comes to life when worn.

I study fashion design at Dominican University, focusing on pattern development, garment construction, and textile design while prioritizing social responsibility. Developing fashion as an opportunity for unity and rejecting notions of exclusivity is my ultimate goal. Along with design, I am also a small business owner, vending at 15+ vintage pop-up events in the mid-west. I hope to make style accessible by designing with the working class in mind.
